My wife and I are visiting seattle for the New Years. It’s so beautiful and cold! Our first breakfast here are crumpets and hot groats (whole steelcut oats) at the Crumpet Shop.
So scrumptious and buttery.
Stay warm for us.
More blogging soon.. Sorry for being away for so long.

Welcome to Seattle. Stay warm and try to stay away from those crummy
places run by d-list chefs! If you have time, try and make it to Salumi (the best cured meats and it’s run by Mario Batali’s family).

Just left Seattle the other day– have a great time in the city! Look forward to your blog postings. Avoid Starbucks and enjoy much better coffee shops–Espresso Vivace, Coffee Messiah (Capitol Hill), etc.

OK guys. This recipe definitely is NOT for microwave pressure cookers! Ho and it was smelling so ono…but not now, its burnt to a crisp. My heart is broken. I’m thinking 15-20 min on the second cooking would suffice. Well I guess I’ll be going to the Taro Patch restaurant tomorrow. Boy the house stinks and I am going to have some fun cleaning the crust off that pressure cooker! Live and learn.
