He physically experienced the literary sense of the phrase. lol In all my life living on Oahu (over 30 years), this recent 'quake was the very first I ever felt and experienced.. anywhere. We were up 12 stories in Waikiki, where it was like a side-to-side swaying sensation. Not jolting, but actually kind of smooth, yet very noticeable and a bit hairy, not knowing how much worse or often the ground was gonna' shake. We're all very fortunate a major Tsunami wasn't generated. Amen. James, hope you get a chance to take that camera back out soon and capture some new grindz spots around the BI!
