Big Island Grinds to be featured on Kama`aina Backroads on OC16!
Kama’aina Backroads is a new show premiering this Saturday at 9pm on OC16 featuring Hawaii from a local perspective. There should be a short segment featuring Big Island Grinds where I check out Itsu’s with the producer of the show. Be sure to check it out… looks like a great show.
I’m really the camera shy type of person, but I couldn’t pass this opportunity up… and had to share with all of you one of my favorite places to grind!
See http://www.kamaainabackroads.com/ for more information about the show.

Aloha B.I.G. fans,
We at Kama’aina Backroads would love your comments on the show, if you had a chance to catch it. (Frankly, I enjoyed the Itsu’s segment a LOT… I can’t play favorites, but if I had to choose, damn diggity, how can you NOT pick the kim chee burger?!) For real though, would love viewer feedback.
We’re lucky to have hooked up with James, and are looking forward to his other recommendations.
BTW, I’ve been living on the Big Island for nearly 1 year now, and I JUST went to Nori’s for the first time tonight. ‘Auwe na ho’ie - cannot beLIEVE! Had to bring half my saimin (Hilo style, special w/won tons) home with me - too much, even for me!!! We’ll have to do a piece on that gem.
Aloha,
Roland with Kama’aina Backroads
