My sister lives in the Big Island (Hilo side) she just came to visit and brought us some mochi. It was the best I have ever eaten.
The strawberry one was ono. We need a mochi store here in Hawaii.
Thank you to the two ladies and their creation.

If it weren't for Alan of Ma'ona, I would never have known about Big Island Grinds. Oh man, do you know what instantaneous reaction you made by posting about Two Ladies Kitchen and their Strawberry Mochi???!!! My god, what a rush back into time! They are 'da BOMB!' I lived on the Big island '93-'97 on Waianuenue Ave. At the time I worked at Sure Save in Puainako. Gives me goosepimples to think how long ago that was. I'm just glad that Two Ladies is still in business. Hopefully, on my next visit back to the islands, I'll be able to stop by in Hilo again!
