Cafe 100 Revisited

Cafe 100

Why oh why do I keep doing this to myself? Why do I keep coming back here for a bland loco moco in hopes of it one day being better?

Cute box

Well, I can get an “ok” loco moco and a small chili for well under 4 bucks… the chili was pretty good actually, not bland at all. It scored extra points to make up for the loco moco, which still has a thin strange tasting burger and bland gravy… let me just say, it’s amazing what a lot of shoyu can do to a bland loco moco. :)

To be fair, the gravy was actually thicker and tastier than the last time I’ve reviewed this place.

And isn’t it cute how they package everything so neatly into a small box? It’s just fun to do take out here.

I remember when I was little, my family would take us to Cafe 100 to eat a loco moco. Back then I thought they were pretty good. It’s been probably almost two decades since I last had one, but while I was in Hilo for work I decided to stop by and have the “world famous” Cafe 100 loco moco.

Man, I was TOTALLY disappointed. Bland is right. What happened to it? At least a regular loco moco is only $2. Here on Oahu, we’d be lucky to find a loco moco for $4.

James ….I give you credit. As a Hilo native, I loss faith in Cafe 100 20years ago. I am NOT a fan of Mass-produced( at least they taste that way) plates.

When I was little, I used to think Cafe 100 was good too… I think it was just my tastebuds. Seems like they never were that good. BTW, I love your blog! Great idea. I’ll be checking it out…

Dean, not sure how much longer I will have faith in this place. Seems like they are stuck in a rut!

    Thanks for visiting guys.

Last year I had some type of chicken for lunch around 2p. Darn thing was tough to eat, and was luke warm when I was expecting it to be warmer if not hot. Rice seemed to be too old for the rice balls seemed bit tough to separate with soft plastic knife.

I wonder how Cafe 100 could still be in business.

The Maryland woman and her boyfriend had fitted the plastic phallic device directly over the saw

routine hectic schedule of labor and never being in a position to fulfill
your fantasies good enough, then the need from the hour is
to enroll yourself into a web-based adult chat room to suit your urge to get
